Late Mail
Maroons - Pat Carrigan starts at lock with Tino Fa'asuamaleaui moving to the bench. Corey Oates and Tom Dearden will replaces Murray Taulagi and Cameron Munster on the wing at five eighth after they went into COVID protocols. Thomas Flegler is 18th Man
Blues - Junior Paulo starts at prop with Jacob Saifiti moving to the bench in the only change to the side named in the link above. Jack Wighton remains 18th Man.
The Tragic's Thoughts - With Munster out, I think shutting down Nathan Cleary will be more important than in Game II, I'm still very surprised that Jack Wighton (the Blues best player in Game I) isn't starting in place of Crichton, having two kickers in the centres would have been hard for the Maroons to stop. I think tonights game will be won in the forward pack tonight.
